Are you one of those people who fancy a thrill? Do you have that uncontrollable need for speed? If you are looking to experiment with the ultimate speed buzz, you should take a look at ten of the fastest roller coaster rides in the world. You better strap on and hold tight as this is going to be the ride of your lives.

10. Leviathan Roller Coaster
Canada's Leviathan Roller Coaster!
Canada’s contribution to the world of screams comes in the form of this 28 Million USD giant. Although it ranks tenth on our top ten list of fastest roller coasters, it is by no means a walk in the park. The Leviathan will take you through an initial drop of 93.3 meters at nearly a right angle (80 degrees to be precise) while at the same time touching speeds of nearly 92 MPH. Your body will be exposed to more G-force than Space Shuttle Astronauts are subjected to at the time of take-off.

9. Millennium Force Roller Coaster

This giant roller coaster will take you on a scream filled ride through its nearly 2,500 meters journey of sharp twists and turns. It is the first roller coaster of its kind which uses a magnetic braking system and a cable lift system instead of the traditional chain lift. You will be in for the time of your life as you travel at speeds in excess of 90 MPH and 93 MPH at its fastest point. What better way than to start your journey on this giant monster of a coaster than with a 310 foot drop at nearly a perpendicular orientation (80 degrees to be precise).
