How to Make Scary Halloween Decorations without Spending Much

No occasion is better than the Halloween to decorate your home weirdly! The underlying idea is to transform each and every corner of your home into a frightening sight just like a haunted mansion. However, this does not mean that you have to make it a sumptuous affair by spending much on pots of blood and ghosts. Just a smart craft work with some affordable things can help you obtain scary decorations for your home. Here are some cool and creepy Halloween decorations that you can make on your own instead of buying them!

Blood-crying Lit Balloon Spirits
These are perfect to scare your guests at night. And yes, these are the only ghouls that your kids would love to them although they will be staring on everyone by hanging from the trees in your lawn. To make these ghosts, you will need very simple things namely; glow sticks that glow well for at least 8 hours, white latex balloons, cheesecloth, and a black as well as a red marker. Before the twilight, snap the sticks to activate them and make one of them slip into the opening of a circular latex balloon after which you can blow the balloon and tie it. Now, with the help of a black marker, draw big scary eyes after turning the balloon upside down, show bloody tears from their eyes by using a red marker, swathe cheesecloth over to look like a ghoul’s sheet, and hang it from the preferred spot.
Entry from Hell
This is one of the scariest decorations for your outdoors. In front of a bush, form a half-circle of bloody pavers or bricks and then place a devil with a mask and black costume such that only the upper bloody half of his body juts out to grab hold of someone. Add some smoke by putting ice behind, play some groaning music, and let some lights dim in this entryway.
Sinister Shelf
How about adding some jars with creepy forest insects on the shelf accompanied by leafless twisted branches jutting from the urns? To make it creepier, you can add use black crepe paper to make bats. You get jars with these insects at very reasonable rates at Amazon. For a realistic look, make bats of different sizes and hang them at different levels. To make bats, you can also use a black poster board from which you can cut bat shapes and attach strings to them and to the door jamb.
Creepy Windows
Let your windows also be scary! You can hang white sheets in front of windows, position a bright light some feet away, and cut the sheet in shape of a daunting man with raised hair and holding a knife.
