The Richest Person In Every State

Who is the richest person in every state? Over the last several months we have been working diligently to make Celebrity Net Worth better, faster and more fun to visit every day. For example, we built a page that displays the Top 100 Richest People in the World, updated in real time with their rank current net worth. We also made it so each of our individual category sections can be sorted from richest poorest so visitors can easily browse pages like the richest rappersrichest golfersrichest NBA players etc…
Today we are very excited to preview a project that has been in the works for at least six months. A while back we thought it would be cool if visitors had the ability to browse an interactive map of the world to see who the richest people are in every single city, state and country. So we set out to build that page and organize all our data to display wealthy people by geographic location. This turned out the be an enormous task that is still a work in progress, but with a little more work and feedback from our users we can already tell that these maps are going to be awesome. The map of America is pretty much ready for viewing, to check it out click the image below:

Richest Person in Every State
One of the coolest byproducts of adding geographical information to all of our data is that we now know who the richest person is in every state and how they made their fortune. You probably wont be surprised to learn that Bill Gates is the richest person in Washington, but you may be surprised to learn who the richest people are in states like Alaska, South Dakota, Maine, Kentucky or even Illinois. We also discovered that while New York, California and Texas are home to the most billionaires per capita, there are several US States that contain no full time billionaire residents at all. So, without further delay, to view the richest people in every state you can either click the image of the map above or browse a full list below:
