December is a much-anticipated month in the world of men not just because of the coming Christmas season and not just because the regular season of American football is about to approach crunch time, but because it the month when the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is aired on network television. Nobody really cares if regular women can really wear the lingerie the models are wearing. What is important is that these young models are wearing them and walking on the runway to display the latest in underwear.
We all have our favorites from the likes of Tyra Banks and Giselle Bundchen to the newer ones like Barbara Palvin and Doutzen Kroes. Making a top 10 list is almost impossible as the list may change everyday depending on a guy’s mood. One can even make a top 50 list easily due to the sheer number of amazing models that have appeared for the brand.
Still, here are the top 10 sexiest Victoria’s Secret models of all time.
1. Kate Upton
Upon seeing her, the casting director of Victoria’s Secret said that including her in the fashion show is a no-brainer. Upton is probably more known for her appearance on the cover of Sports Illustrated magazine’s swimsuit edition, but she did once modeled for the lingerie company as well. Her male fans scrutinize anything she does. She once sang along to “Teach Me How to Dougie” during a break in a game by the Los Angeles Clippers and the video immediately went viral. Another video of her doing “Cat Daddy” garnered 750,000 hits within 24 hours. She has also made a breakthrough in the world of high fashion after appearing on the cover of Vogue magazine.
2. Candice Swanepoel
The angels of Victoria’s Secret aspire for two things while in the employ of the lingerie giant: to wear the fantasy bra during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show and to be on the cover of the annual Swim catalog. Swanepoel has landed the cover gig three straight years from 2011 to 2013. 9. Brooklyn Decker
She was discovered when she was just a teenager shopping in a mall in Charlotte. In just about 10 years, Decker has appeared on the cover of the swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated, been featured on the 2010 Swim catalogue of Victoria’s Secret and made guest appearances in television shows like Chuck and Ugly Betty. She is now married to tennis star Andy Roddick.
10. Isabeli Fontana
She was only 16 when she appeared in Victoria’s Secret lingerie catalog in violation of the company’s policy not to employ anyone below 18. Versace, Ralph Lauren and Valentino soon signed her up. She has since appeared in Sports Illustrated, Vogue and Elle, as well as modeled for Hugo Boss and Revlon.
